Katyayani Professor is a Broad-spectrum control of fungal diseases. It is a combination fungicide of ametoctradin and Dimethomorph. It is a systemic chemical fungicide used in agriculture. This fungicide is available as a suspension concentrate (SC) formulation, which means it is a liquid that needs to be diluted with water before use.

Mode of Action:

• Ametoctradin: Inhibits oomycete respiration by targeting the mitochondrial cytochrome bc1 complex. This disrupts the fungus's energy production, ultimately leading to cell death.
• Dimethomorph: Acts systematically within the plant to inhibit spore germination, mycelial growth, and sporangia formation. Spores are the reproductive units of fungi, and mycelia are the vegetative threads that make up the body of a fungus. By inhibiting these processes, dimethomorph prevents the fungus from spreading and infecting new plant tissue.
