Technical Contains: Novaluron 5.25% + Indoxacarb 4.5% SC
Katyayani Dr Blight is a Chemical Fungicide containing Metalaxyl-M 3.3% and Chlorothalonil 33.1% in a suspension concentrates formulation. It effectively controls a wide range of fungal diseases through Systemic and Contact Action by disrupting RNA and Cellular functions. This fungicide is suitable for agricultural use against fungal diseases such as Blights and Rot diseases in crops like Potato, Tomato and Ginger.
Mode of Action:
Metalaxyl-M 3.3% + Chlorothalonil 33.1% SC mainly targets both Systemic and Contact action on fungal diseases.
- Metalaxyl: It has a systemic mode of action. It interferes with RNA synthesis within the fungus, ultimately stopping its growth and reproduction. Since it gets absorbed by the plant, it can control fungal diseases even within plant tissues.
- Chlorothalonil: It has a contact mode of action. It disrupts various cellular processes in fungal spores and prevents them from germinating and infecting the plant. It creates a protective layer on the plant surface but doesn't enter the plant tissue.
Benefits:
- Protection against a wide range of fungal diseases due to the combination of systemic and contact metalaxyl mode of action.
- Metalaxyl-M's systemic properties allow it to act preventatively, protecting new plant growth from infection.
- Chlorothalonil's contact mode of action provides curative effects, stopping the spread of existing fungal diseases on the plant surface.
Diseases: Late blight, Early Blight, Foot rot, Root rot, Brown rot, Rhizome rot, Downy mildew and many other fungal diseases.
Crops: Potato, Tomato, Citrus, Ginger, Chilli, Millets, Sorghum and many other fungal diseases.
Dosage:
- For Domestic use: Apply 2 ml per liter of water.
- For Agriculture use: Foliar spray - Apply 416 ml per Acre.
