Katyayani Copper Sulphate is a chemical fungicide, which is highly effective and used in agriculture and horticulture as a fungicide and as a supplement to provide plants with copper, an essential nutrient. It appears as a copper blue crystalline powder. It is effective against fungal diseases like powdery mildew, Downy mildew and Black Rot in various crops like fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. It is often used in crops that are susceptible to fungal diseases, such as grapes, potatoes, and tomatoes.
Target Fungal Diseases: Downy mildew, Powdery mildew, Leaf spot, Anthracnose, Blight, Black rot, and scab diseases.
Target Crops: Fruits, Vegetables, and Ornamental plants. It is often used in crops that are susceptible to fungal diseases, such as grapes, potatoes, and tomatoes.
Mode of Action:
- Copper ions attack the cell walls and membranes of fungi, leading to their destruction.
- Copper ions are absorbed by plant roots and transported to leaves and also transferred to other parts of the plant for maintaining healthy cellular processes and promoting the growth.
