Indofil Avtar is a dual-action fungicide that provides protective and curative action to protect crops from fungal diseases like black rot and sheath blight. Indofil Avtar fungicide is compatible with commonly used pesticides, increasing the overall effectiveness of the product. It inhibits fungal cell development and stops the formation of fungal diseases through systemic and contact action. Pump dose: Use 18 to 37 gm of Avtar Fungicide per 15-litre knapsack pump for general foliar application.
Water Volume: Use 200 litres of water per acre for full canopy coverage.
Open the Avtar Fungicide pack carefully and measure the required quantity using a clean spoon or weighing cup.
Wear gloves and a face mask before measuring the product.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
Slowly add the measured Avtar Fungicide into the tank while stirring continuously until fully dissolved.
Add the remaining water and mix thoroughly to form a uniform spray solution.
Use a fine-mist or hollow-cone nozzle for proper coverage.
Spray during calm weather, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Use a high-volume knapsack sprayer for effective canopy coverage.
Spray Indofil Avtar Fungicide at the preventive stage — before disease symptoms appear or as soon as the first few spots or lesions show up on the leaves. Late afternoon or early evening is the best window, as leaf temperature is cooler and product absorption is stronger.
Frequency: 2 to 3 sprays of Avtar Fungicide per crop cycle at 10 to 15-day intervals, depending on disease pressure and weather. The first spray should be done soon after the infection appears, and subsequent sprays at 10 to 15-day intervals.
Re-Entry Period: Wait 12 to 24 hours after spraying before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Indofil Avtar Fungicide mixes well with most common insecticides and water-soluble fertilizers. For better results, add a spreader or sticker (adjuvant) with the Avtar Fungicide spray. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture and lime sulfur. Always run a small jar test before a new tank-mix.
Wear hand gloves, face mask, and protective eyewear while handling the product.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or spraying.
Spray downwind and keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields.
Wash hands and exposed body parts with soap and water after use.
In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately with the product label.
Store Indofil Avtar Fungicide in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and drinking water sources.
Store in the original container with the cap tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption.
