Hpm Hitalaxyl (Metalaxyl 8% WP + Mancozeb 64% WP) is a broad-spectrum fungicide offering protective and curative action. Controls Downy Mildew, Late Blight, Alternaria blight, Tikka, and more.

Key Features:

Hitalaxyl is a wettable powder combining systemic (Metalaxyl) and contact (Mancozeb) fungicides.
Provides broad-spectrum control against diseases such as Downy Mildew, Late Blight, Early Blight, Tikka, White Rust, Alternaria Blight, Damping Off, Brown and Black Rust, and Blast.
Exhibits both preventive and curative action.
Rapid uptake and translocation ensure long-lasting disease protection (approximately 14 days).
Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides except lime sulfur.

Mode of Action:

Metalaxyl: Systemic fungicide that inhibits protein synthesis in fungi by interfering with ribosomal RNA synthesis.
Mancozeb: Non-systemic fungicide that inactivates fungal enzymes, disrupting lipid metabolism, respiration, and ATP production.

Applications:

Effective against diseases like Downy Mildew, Early Blight, Late Blight, Tikka, Alternaria Blight, Damping Off, and White Rust.
Recommended to spray at the first sign of disease symptoms.

Crops and Dosages:

Grapes (Downy Mildew): 1000 gm/acre 200 liters of water.
Potato (Late Blight): 1000 gm/acre in 400 liters of water.
Tomato (Late Blight): 800 gm/acre in 200 liters of water.
Waiting Period: Not less than 7 weeks for all listed crops.

Usage Recommendations:

Spray at the first appearance of symptoms or disease incidence.
Avoid mixing with lime sulfur.
Follow safety precautions and waiting periods for effective disease management.
