Descriptions

It is branched-chain amino acid synthesise (ALS or AHAS) inhibiter. Acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of essential amino acids valine and isoleucine, hence stopping cell division and plant growth. Selectively derives from rapid metabolism (demethylation of methoxy group) in the crop. Metabolic basis of selectivity in sulfonylureas.

Applications:

  • Effective for the Control of various weeds on paddy.

  • Control the weeds of the Nursery as well as the main field.

  • Bring greenery in the paddy field and safe for paddy seedlings.

  • Safe for microorganisms present in soil which is useful for the plant.

  • Weeds absorb it through leaves and roots.

Mode of action:

Systemic herbicide absorbed by roots and /or leaves and translocated to the meristems.

Crop:

Transplanted Rice - Cyperusiria, Cyperusdifformis, Fimbristylismiliacea, Ludwigiaparviflora, Monochoria vaginalis

Dose: 40-60 gm/acre for 200-240 Liter water (95 days waiting period)
