GSP Helipro is a broad-spectrum insecticide, that is manufactured by GSP Crop Science Pvt. Ltd. It is primarily a larvicide — designed to target caterpillars, borers, and armyworms at the larval stage before they can cause serious crop damage. Once ingested or contacted by larvae, GSP Helipro insecticide disrupts calcium balance in their muscle cells, causing immediate feeding cessation, paralysis, and death. Crops stop getting damaged almost instantly, even before the pest dies completely. With one of the longest residual periods among all registered caterpillar insecticides, GSP Helipro insecticide is effective on a remarkably wide range of crops, including Rice, Sugarcane, Cotton, Maize, and other vegetables.
Primary Larvicide: GSP Helipro insecticide is specifically engineered to target larvae at their most vulnerable stage, stopping crop damage before the pest population builds up to damaging levels.
Immediate Feeding Stop: Larvae stop feeding within minutes of ingesting or contacting treated plant tissue, halting crop damage long before the pest dies.
Longest Residual Period: GSP Helipro insecticide provides one of the longest durations of pest protection among registered caterpillar insecticides, reducing the number of sprays needed per season.
Resistant Pest Control: The unique Ryanodine Receptor mode of action controls pest populations that no longer respond to older organophosphate and pyrethroid insecticides.
Conserves Beneficials: Highly selective — safe for natural predators, parasitoids, and pollinators, making GSP Helipro one of the most IPM-friendly insecticides available.
Dual-action: It is absorbed through leaves and moves through the plant, reaching borers and larvae hiding inside stems through systemic and translaminar action.
Wide Crop Coverage: GSP Helipro insecticide is registered for Rice, Sugarcane, Cotton, Maize, Cabbage and other crops.
Armyworms: Spodoptera, Fall Army Worm, Spotted Army Worm, Cut Worm
Borers: Stem Borer, Shoot Borer, Fruit Borer, Pod Borer
Bollworms: American Bollworm, Pink Bollworm, Spotted Bollworm
Other Pests: Diamondback Moth, Leaf Folder, Helicoverpa
Dilute GSP Helipro in 200 liters of water per acre for foliar spray. Apply at the early larval stage or at the first sign of pest infestation for the fastest and most complete control.

Note: Never exceed the recommended dose.
Measure the required quantity of GSP Helipro carefully, as 60 ml per acre is a small but highly effective dose — do not estimate, measure precisely.
Add clean water to the sprayer tank to about one-third capacity and pour in the measured dose.
Fill the remaining tank volume with water while stirring to maintain a uniform suspension throughout.
Apply evenly and systematically across the entire field — cover all plant surfaces, including leaf undersides and growing tips where larvae first appear.
For hidden borers inside stems and fruits, direct the nozzle into plant whorls, fruit attachment points, and stem bases.
Apply during the early larval stage when caterpillars are young and most vulnerable to the active ingredient.
Flush the sprayer with two rounds of fresh water after every use before storing.
Apply GSP Helipro insecticide in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cool, and caterpillars are most active on plant surfaces — avoid the peak heat hours to prevent evaporation and ensure maximum coverage.
Frequency of Application: Begin at the first sign of larval activity or at the early larval stage. A second application may be given 14 to 21 days later if pest numbers remain high. Limit to 2 applications per season.
Re-Entry Period: Farm workers must stay out of treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without full protective gear.
Tank-mix Compatibility: Compatible with most standard fungicides and insecticides. Always run a jar test before combining two products. Avoid mixing with alkaline solutions.
Wear gloves, safety goggles, and a protective mask before measuring or handling this product.
Never eat, drink, or smoke while mixing or applying.
Wash all exposed skin and hands thoroughly with soap and water after finishing.
Keep children, pets, and livestock well away from treated areas for at least 24 hours.
Toxic to bees — do not spray during or near the flowering stage to protect pollinators.
Keep all spray away from ponds, rivers, and open water bodies.
Triple rinse all empty containers, puncture, and dispose of them as per local waste regulations.
Store GSP Helipro insecticide in the original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat.
Never store near food, animal feed, drinking water, or seeds.
Keep completely out of reach of children and farm animals at all times.

Controls Stem Borers, Bollworms, Fall Army Worm, Fruit Borers, Pod Borers, Diamondback Moth, and other caterpillar pests across Rice, Sugarcane, Cotton, Maize, Cabbage, Tomato, Brinjal, Chilli, Soybean, Pulses, and Vegetables.
Pests stop feeding immediately after ingesting treated plant tissue and die within 24 to 48 hours. Fully grown caterpillars take longer to respond and cause significantly more crop damage before dying, so early application is always more effective.
Yes — it is highly selective and does not harm natural predators, parasitoids, and pollinators at recommended doses, making it one of the safest choices for IPM programs where conserving beneficial insects is a priority.
Apply at the early larval stage and repeat after 14 to 21 days if pest pressure remains high.
Yes — GSP Helipro insecticide is registered and highly effective against Fall Army Worm in Maize. Apply at the early larval stage when FAW is in the 1st to 3rd instar and direct the spray into the plant whorl where larvae shelter for best results.
