ETNA is a unique product developed by Excel Crop Care Ltd. for the effective control of lepidopteran, harmful insects, and phytophagous mites on various crops. It has exceptionally good penetration and quick knockdown properties.

Technical Name:

Mode of Action:

  • Profenophos, with its unique mode of action, has superior advantages over several other products. 

  • As a member of the organophosphate family of insecticides, it works by potently inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which is essential for impulse transmission.

  • Fenpyroximate is a contact and stomach acaricide; it belongs to the METI (Mitochondrion Electron Transport Inhibition) compound group, which helps in the disruption of the energy generation process. 

  • Prior to knockdown and death, mites treated with Fenpyroximate get paralyzed on the leaf.

Dosage:

  • Soybean 300 ml/acre And chili 400 ml/acre.

Suitable Crop: 

  • Etna is suitable for crops such as Chilli.
