Grow Well is a second-stage growth fertilizer containing a vital primary, secondary, and assured supply of micronutrients to cater to the needs of growing plants and help them develop healthy leaves and branches.
This is a slow to moderate-release organic fertilizer.
This product is meant to be used as a seed starter mix.
It is also suitable for plants with low phosphorus and relatively higher nitrogen and potassium ratios, such as lemons, bananas, etc.
Nutrients are released after some time, approximately 10-15 days, but at a uniform rate and over a longer duration.
It tends to improve the soil structure, allowing it to absorb more water.
The suggested reading is Organic vs. Inorganic fertilizers and how fertilizer blends are more effective than composts.
Containers:
For new plantings: add ¼ cup per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 5-10 lbs per cubic yard.
For established plants: lightly mix 1 tbsp per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.
Plant Beds:
To prepare new gardens, apply 2.5-5 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3” soil. Add ¼ cups per hole for new transplants, mix into the soil, and water in the well. To feed established plants, side dress ¼-½ cups in Fall or early Spring to promote fruiting and flowering during the growing season.
As mentioned above, for established plants (if you wish to use it for plants with similar needs), dig a trench 2-3 inches deep around the plant, leaving 3 inches from the plant trunk. Uniformly spread the fertilizer (it is recommended to start with 30 grams) in the trench and then cover the trench with soil. Water the plant until some water comes out from the bottom of the pot.
