EBS ASAR is a selective systemic herbicide containing Atrazine 50% WP. It controls a wide range of annual grassy and broadleaf weeds by blocking photosynthesis in the weed plant — starving it from within until it dies completely. It can be applied both before weeds emerge from the soil and in the early stages after emergence, giving farmers flexible timing for application. It is safe for Maize and Sugarcane crops when used at recommended doses and is a cost-effective solution for clean and weed-free fields.
Systemic Action: EBS Asar is absorbed through the foliage of weeds and translocated upward through the plant, killing weeds from their roots.
Long Residual: It provides extended weed control after a single application — protects the crop from fresh weed emergence for several weeks.
Broad Spectrum: Atrazine 50% WP controls both annual grassy weeds and broadleaf weeds in a single spray.
Resistance Breaker: Effective against weeds that have developed resistance to other herbicide groups.
Cost-Effective: Atrazine 50% WP controls a wide range of weeds at a low cost per acre compared to multiple herbicide applications.
Annual Grassy Weeds: Eleusine indica (Goosegrass), Echinochloa colonum (Jungle Rice), Digitaria sanguinalis
Broadleaf Weeds: Cleome viscosa, Amaranthus viridis, Trianthema monogyna, Commelina benghalensis
Other Weeds: Ageratum conyzoides, Parthenium hysterophorus, Cyperus spp.
Mix EBS ASAR in 200 litres of water per acre for foliar spray. Apply Atrazine 50% WP as a pre-emergence spray within 0 to 3 days of sowing or as an early post-emergence spray when weeds are at the 2 to 3 leaf stage.
Crop | Target Weeds | Dose / Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |

Controls annual grassy and broadleaf weeds in Maize and Sugarcane — applied before or shortly after weed emergence for season-long weed-free fields.
Both, it can be applied as a pre-emergence spray within 0 to 3 days of sowing or as an early post-emergence spray when weeds are at the 2 to 3 leaf stage.
Yes — Atrazine 50% WP is highly selective and safe for Maize and Sugarcane when used at recommended doses. Do not use on other crops as it may cause damage.
Atrazine has good residual activity and provides several weeks of weed control after a single application, preventing fresh weed emergence throughout the early crop growth stage.
Apply within 0 to 3 days of sowing on moist soil for pre-emergence control, or when weeds are at the 2 to 3 leaf stage for post-emergence control — early application always gives the best results.
