EBS Metarhizium Anisopliae Bio Insecticide Powder

Metarhizium Anisopliae is a unique biological insecticide. It is caused by an entomopathogenic fungus that causes muscadine diseases in insects, such as bugs, weevils, and hoppers. 

When spores of M.Anisoliae come in contact with A host’s cuticle by any means, the fungus rapidly grows and proliferates inside the insect. It produces toxins that initiate protein degradation. The insect eventually dies due to chemical, mechanical, water, and nutrient loss effects.

Dosage and Method of Application: 

• Foliar Spray: Add 1 kg formulation in 150 to 200 liters of water. The spray volume depends on the crop canopy. Filter the solution with muslin cloth before spraying it on the target pest. Spray should be done during evening hours on both sides of the leaves. 

• Soil Application: The soil application is effective against root weevils, white grubs, and termites. Add 2 kg of formulation and 150 to 200 kg of organic manure or compost.

Note: 

Spray some water for moisture and cover it with a polythene sheet. Mix the heap after 4 days and again cover the heap. This process should be done under shade. After the process (8 to 10 days) broadcast this mixture into 1 acre field.
