Uttam Weeza is a selective post-emergent herbicide from Chambal, containing Clodinafop Propargyl 15% WP. It effectively controls Phalaris minor and Wild oat in wheat crops. With systemic action, it is absorbed by the plant's leaves and stem, halting lipid synthesis and stopping weed growth within 48 hours. Applied 30-35 days after wheat sowing, it provides long-lasting residual action, preventing the emergence of new weeds. Weeza is safe for wheat crops and is suitable for all wheat varieties in India.
Mode of Action:
Uttam Weeza, due to its systemic action, is absorbed by the leaves and stem of the plants and stops the synthesis of lipids in the plant, thereby the growth of the weed is stopped within 48 hours. 14-21 days after application of Weeza the weeds dry up and die.
