3. Amino acid fertilizers work by supplying plants with the fundamental components they need for growth and development. Amino acids are involved in enzymatic reactions, hormone synthesis, and protein formation – all of which are essential for optimal plant health.

4. Amino Acids are also supplied to plant by incorporating them into the soil. It helps in improving the microflora of the soil thereby facilitating the assimilation of nutrients.

5. Amino acids such as cysteine, glutamine, glycine, histidine, and lysine act as chelating agents for the plant. Aspartic acid, glutamine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, and threonine stimulate germination. Alanine, lysine, and serine are involved in chlorophyll synthesis.
