Once applied, it penetrates leaf tissue through translaminar movement and poisons pests through contact and stomach action — reaching mites that are hidden under the leaves. Pests experience rapid paralysis and complete feeding cessation within hours, protecting crops from further damage even before the pest dies. Abactin insecticide is especially used for mite and leaf miner control — both of which are among the most difficult pests to manage in vegetables, fruit crops, and cotton.

Give the Abactin insecticide bottle a firm shake before opening, as EC formulations can separate during storage.
Measure the exact required dose into a clean measuring cup before adding to the sprayer tank.
Add clean water to the sprayer tank to about one-third capacity and pour in the measured dose.
Fill with remaining clean water while stirring continuously to form a uniform milky emulsion.
Apply evenly and thoroughly across all plant surfaces — pay special attention to the underside of leaves where mites and leaf miners concentrate.
Ensure thorough coverage inside the crop canopy where mites shelter in dense foliage.
After finishing, run clean water through the sprayer twice before putting it away.
Spray this insecticide in the early morning when temperatures are cool, and mites are most active on leaf surfaces — avoid midday heat as high temperatures can cause faster evaporation and reduce coverage effectiveness.
Frequency of Application: Apply this insecticide at the first sign of mite or pest activity. Repeat after 10 to 15 days if pest pressure continues. Limit to 2 applications per season to prevent resistance build-up.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-mix Compatibility: This insecticide gives the best results when applied alone without mixing with other pesticides. If tank mixing is necessary, always do a jar test before combining with any other product.
