Nutri Fe is a chelated micronutrient fertilizer that works by supplying Iron (Fe) at 12% in an EDTA-chelated and amino acid-chelated form that dissolves speedily and completely in water. The Nutri Fe fertilizer is highly versatile as it can be used for preventive and curative applications. This fertilizer is also very compatible with most insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
Key Features and Benefits of Nutri Fe:
Easy Uptake: Nutri Fe is available in chelated format, making it easy to absorb and utilise by the crops.
Dual Application: This iron micronutrient fertilizer can be used as a preventive and curative application.
Improved Growth: The Nutri Fe fertilizer helps improve chlorophyll synthesis for quicker and stronger crop growth.
High Versatility: This fertilizer is suitable for almost all crops, including vegetables, fruits, cereals, pulses, spices, and flowers.
Great Compatibility: Nutri Fe is compatible with most insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
Nutri Fe Uses — Iron Deficiency in Crops:
Iron deficiency corrected by Nutri Fe occurs most commonly in:
Vegetable Crops: Tomato, Chilli, Capsicum, Brinjal, Spinach, Lettuce, Cucumber, Cabbage, Cauliflower
Fruit Crops: Mango, Citrus, Grapes, Pomegranate, Apple, Guava, Banana, Strawberry
Cereal Crops: Paddy (Paddy interveinal chlorosis in waterlogged soils), Wheat, Maize
Pulses and Oilseeds: Groundnut, Soybean, Chickpea
Spice and Plantation Crops: Cardamom, Coffee, Tea, Coconut
All Other Crops: Any crop showing interveinal chlorosis on young leaves
Nutri Fe Dose — Recommended Dose:
Application Method | Dose | Timing |
Foliar Spray | 50 gm per acre (5 gm per 15L pump / 0.5–1 gm per litre) | At first sign of deficiency or at vegetative and reproductive growth stages |
Soil Application | 100 gm per acre | At transplanting or early vegetative stage |
How To Use Nutri Fe:
Measure 50 gm of Nutri Fe per acre for foliar spray or 100 gm per acre for soil application.
Pre-dissolve the measured powder in a small amount of clean water and stir until fully dissolved before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and mix well before spraying.
For foliar spray, apply evenly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces — especially targeting new young leaves where Iron deficiency chlorosis first appears.
Apply at the first visible signs of interveinal chlorosis for the fastest greening response.
For preventive use, apply at the vegetative stage and pre-flowering stage before deficiency symptoms develop.
For soil application, dissolve the required dose in sufficient water and apply uniformly to the root zone.
Always spray during early morning or late evening for best leaf absorption.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Nutri Fe in the early morning or late evening. For correction of visible Iron deficiency chlorosis, apply immediately at the first sign of interveinal yellowing on young leaves — repeat 10–15 days later if symptoms persist. For preventive use, apply at the vegetative and pre-flowering stages.
Frequency of Application and Re-Entry Period:
Frequency of Application: For deficiency correction — apply 2 times, 10–15 days apart. For preventive use — once at vegetative stage and once at pre-flowering. Nutri Fe can be applied at multiple growth stages as needed based on crop Iron requirements.
Re-Entry Period: Nutri Fe is non-toxic. No strict re-entry restriction applies. Allow foliar spray to dry before re-entering the field.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Compatible with most insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products. Avoid mixing with phosphate-rich fertilizers in the same tank as phosphate can react with Iron and reduce bioavailability.
Safety Precautions and Handling:
Wear gloves, goggles, and a mask when measuring and applying Nutri Fe.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water if contact occurs.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Keep away from children, livestock, food, and water sources.
For agricultural use only. Dispose of empty containers per local waste guidelines.
Storage Instructions:
Store Nutri Fe in its original sealed packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Keep tightly sealed after use to prevent moisture absorption and caking.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
Store out of reach of children and farm animals.
Storage Temperature: Below 35°C.
