The Startup Saaf Fungicide Dose Per Litre is 2 gm per litre of water for foliar spray — equivalent to 300–400 gm per acre in 150–200 litres of water and 30 gm per 15L pump.
Application Method | Dose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Seed Treatment (Groundnut) | 2–4 gm per kg of seeds | Mix dry with seeds before sowing — coat uniformly and shade-dry before sowing |
Foliar Spray (All Crops) | 2 gm per litre of water (300–400 gm per acre) | Apply at the first sign of disease or preventively |
Soil Drench | 2 gm per litre of water | Apply around the root zone at transplanting |
Drip Irrigation | As per the crop and label | Dissolve in sufficient water and apply through a drip |
For seed treatment, measure 2–4 gm of UPL Startup Saaf per kg of seeds and mix dry with the seeds in a container until all seeds are uniformly coated.
Shade-dry the treated seeds for 30–60 minutes before sowing — never sun-dry as UV exposure degrades the active ingredients.
For foliar spray, measure 2 gm of Startup Saaf fungicide per litre of water required for the spray volume.
Pre-mix the measured powder in a small amount of clean water until fully dissolved before adding to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and agitate well to form a uniform suspension before spraying.
Spray evenly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces — ensuring complete and uniform leaf coverage for maximum contact and systemic protection.
Apply at the first sign of disease symptoms — or preventively during humid, warm conditions that favour fungal disease development.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Apply UPL Startup Saaf as a foliar spray in the early morning or late evening. For Paddy Blast, begin preventive sprays at the tillering and panicle initiation stages. For Potato Blight, apply from the vegetative stage before the monsoon season. For seed treatment, apply Startup Saaf fungicide to seed lots on the day of sowing.
Frequency of Application: For foliar spray — apply every 10–14 days during active disease pressure. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season. Rotate Startup Saaf fungicide with products from different FRAC groups after 2 consecutive sprays to prevent resistance development.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after foliar spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: UPL Startup Saaf is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar products. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline inputs.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or applying the Startup Saaf fungicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Keep UPL Startup Saaf away from children, animals, water sources, and food items.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every application.
Treated seed lots should be clearly labelled — do not use as food or feed for humans or animals.
