The Kitoshi Fungicide Dose Per Litre is 2 ml per litre of water — equivalent to 30 ml per 15L pump and 300 ml per acre in 200 litres of water.
Crop | Target Disease | Dose Per Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |
Chilli | Powdery Mildew, Fruit Rot | 300 ml | 30 ml | 7 days |
Other Vegetables / Fruits / Cereals | As listed above | 300 ml | 30 ml | As per label |
How To Use Sumitomo Kitoshi Fungicide:
Read the label instructions fully before preparing the spray solution.
Measure 2 ml of Kitoshi fungicide per litre of water needed for the spray volume.
Pre-mix the measured quantity in a small amount of water before adding it to the sprayer tank.
Fill the tank with the remaining 200 litres of water per acre and mix well before spraying.
Use a suitable hollow cone or flat fan nozzle — thorough coverage of all plant surfaces is the most important factor for best results with Sumitomo Kitoshi.
Begin spraying at the first appearance of disease symptoms — early application of Kitoshi fungicide gives the best control and the strongest residual protection.
If using for prevention, spray before disease is visible when weather conditions favour fungal development.
Wear proper protective gear — gloves, mask, and goggles — throughout the mixing and application process.
Best Time to Apply:
Spray Sumitomo Kitoshi in the early morning or late evening on a calm, non-rainy day. For Chilli Powdery Mildew and Fruit Rot, begin Kitoshi fungicide applications at the very first sign of white powdery growth on leaves or early browning on developing fruit.
Frequency of Application and Re-Entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of disease. Sumitomo Kitoshi provides long-lasting residual activity — repeat every 10–15 days if disease pressure continues. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season. Rotate Kitoshi fungicide with products from different FRAC groups after 2 consecutive sprays to prevent resistance.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Azoxystrobin 12.5% + Tebuconazole 12.5% SC is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Always do a jar test before combining with any unfamiliar input. Avoid strongly alkaline products.
