Katyayani Ditox – Advanced Mosquito and Insect Control
Katyayani Ditox contains Diflubenzuron 25% WP, a urea-derived insecticide known for its effectiveness in controlling insect larvae. With its unique mode of action, it offers targeted pest management in a range of environments.
Key Features:
Chemical Properties: Diflubenzuron has low aqueous solubility and is not expected to leach into groundwater. It is not persistent in soils but may persist in water under certain conditions. The product has low mammalian toxicity and is relatively non-toxic to birds and algae. It is moderately toxic to fish, honeybees, and earthworms, with higher toxicity to aquatic invertebrates.
Mode of Action: Katyayani Ditox disrupts chitin formation during the moulting process of insect larvae, leading to effective control. It targets pests by interfering with their development.
Applications: Recommended for mosquito larvae control in both clean and polluted water. Suitable for domestic use, including home gardens, terrace gardens, nurseries, and indoor plants, as well as large-scale applications.
