Trio Methoxam 30 is a systemic seed treatment insecticide that protects the crop from the day the seed goes into the ground. Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide consists of thiamethoxam, which works by binding to nerve receptors in the insect, causing over-stimulation, paralysis, and death. Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide works by contact, stomach, and systemic routes together, which makes it far more thorough than a surface dressing. It is also simple to apply.

The Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide dose per litre of water is not the right measure for this product, because it is a seed dressing and not a foliar spray. The Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide rate is set per kilogram of seed, and the water is only a carrier — about 10 to 20 ml per kg of seed is enough to make a workable slurry.

Shake the Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide bottle well, since a flowable concentrate settles while standing.
Weigh the seed lot first, then measure the dose against that weight.
Spread the seed evenly on a clean polythene sheet, tarpaulin or seed tray.
Mix the measured Trio Methoxam 30 with 10 to 20 ml of water per kg of seed to form a thin slurry.
Sprinkle the slurry over the seed and turn it by hand or in a seed drum until every grain is coated.
Dry the treated seed in shade for about 30 minutes before it goes to the field.
Sow within 24 hours; treated seed does not store well.
Wash hands, the mixing drum and the sheet thoroughly once the work is over.
Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide is applied just before sowing, not weeks ahead. Working in shade keeps the coating stable, and a still, dry spot keeps dust from blowing about. Sowing depth matters too — treated seed should sit properly covered with soil so that no bird, animal or bee comes into contact with it.
Frequency: One treatment per seed lot is all that is needed; there is no repeat dose for Trio Methoxam 30.
Cover Period: Expect Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide to hold for roughly the first three to six weeks after germination, after which normal scouting takes over.
Compatibility: Trio Methoxam 30 insecticide goes along with most seed-treating fungicides. Where a fungicide is also being used, treat with the fungicide first, then this product.
Re-Entry: With Trio Methoxam 30, there is no spray drift, but avoid handling treated seed without gloves and keep the sowing area dust-free.

Triple-rinse empty containers, puncture them, and discard as per local waste rules.
