Emoctan is a strong insecticide made with Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG. It kills many types of harmful caterpillars and worms that damage crops. The pest dies when it touches the spray or eats a treated leaf. Feeding stops within a few hours, and the pest dies in 2 to 4 days. The granules dissolve fully in water and spray smoothly. This insecticide also moves inside the leaf, so it reaches pests hiding on the underside. Emoctan is safe for use on cotton, chilli, brinjal, okra, cabbage, red gram, grapes, and tea.

Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG Dose — Crop Wise Recommended Dose

Mix Emoctan in 150 to 200 litres of clean water per acre. Spray at the first sign of pests.

Note: Do not use more than the suggested dose.

How To Use Emoctan — Application Instructions:

1. Measure the correct dose for your crop from the table.

2. Mix the granules in a small bucket of water and stir well.

3. Pour the mix into the sprayer and fill it with the rest of the water.

4. Shake or stir the tank to mix it well.

5. Spray on both the top and bottom of the leaves.

6. Walk at a steady speed for even spraying.

7. Wash the sprayer with clean water after use.

Best Time To Apply:

Spray in the early morning or late evening when the weather is cool and there is no strong wind. Do not spray in the hot afternoon sun. Skip spraying if rain is expected in the next few hours. Spray as soon as you see pests or eggs for the best results.

Frequency of Application & Re-Entry Period:

• Frequency: Apply Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG at the first sign of pests. Spray again after 10 to 12 days if needed. Do not spray more than 3 to 4 times in one season.

• Re-Entry: Do not enter the field for at least 12 hours after spraying the Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG without safety gear.

• Tank-Mix: Emoctan works well with most insecticides and fungicides. Do not mix with strong products like Bordeaux mixture or lime sulphur. Always test a small mix first.

• Rinse empty packets, make a hole in them, and throw them away safely.
