Adama 2,4-D Main is a powerful herbicide that is selective, systemic, and a post-emergent weed removal remedy. Measure the required dose of this 2,4-D herbicide as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Add the measured quantity to a small amount of clean water, stir well, then add to the sprayer tank half-filled with water.
Fill the tank with the remaining clean water and agitate thoroughly to form a uniform solution.
Apply using a flat fan nozzle fitted with a spray hood to prevent drift onto desirable crop foliage or neighbouring broadleaf crops.
Apply as a directed post-emergence spray at the 2–3 leaf weed stage and when the crop is at the 4–5 leaf stage for the most effective and crop-safe weed kill.
Do not spray during windy conditions, foggy weather, or when rain is expected within 4 hours of application.
Wash the sprayer thoroughly with a Urea solution or clean water after use — 2,4-D herbicide residues in the sprayer can damage sensitive broadleaf crops sprayed afterwards.
Always use a spray hood for directed applications in Sugarcane inter-rows and near adjacent broadleaf crops.
Apply Adama 2,4-D Main in the early morning or late evening. Apply when weeds are at the 2–3 leaf stage and actively growing. Ensure adequate soil moisture at the time of spraying for best herbicide absorption and translocation through the weed root system.
Frequency of Application: One well-timed post-emergence application at the correct weed and crop growth stage is generally sufficient for season-long broadleaf weed control. A second application may be made if a new flush of weed emergence occurs.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 hours after application. Allow the spray to dry and settle before re-entry.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: This 2,4-D herbicide is compatible with most herbicides and crop protection products. Always perform a jar test before mixing. Do not mix with bare hands — always use measuring tools and protective equipment.
Never spray on Dicotyledonous crops — Cotton, Soybean, Sunflower, Pulses, and vegetable crops.
Always use a spray hood to prevent drift onto adjacent fields with sensitive broadleaf crops.
Do not spray during the flowering stage of the registered crop.
Wash the sprayer with Urea solution after every use.
Wear gloves, goggles, a face mask, and protective clothing before handling or spraying this 2,4-D herbicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.

Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated areas for at least 12 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
No specific antidote is known — treat symptomatically and seek medical attention if poisoning is suspected.
