Parijat TASAR is a post-emergence selective herbicide combining Imazethapyr and Imazamox in water dispersible granule (WG) form. It effectively controls a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds in soybean, groundnut, and pulses. Its dual action formula ensures enhanced weed control and extended residual activity.
Imazethapyr 35% + Imazamox 35% WG
TASAR inhibits the activity of the ALS (acetolactate synthase) enzyme in weeds, preventing the biosynthesis of essential amino acids.
This halts cell division and weed growth, leading to the death of the target weeds. It works through foliar and soil absorption.
Apply TASAR as a post-emergent herbicide using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan or flood jet nozzle.
Ensure uniform coverage of the entire field by spraying in a cross pattern (first in one direction, then at right angles).
Maintain constant pressure and nozzle height for even spray distribution.
Use clean water and thoroughly mix the herbicide before spraying.
