Dhanuka Zanet is a versatile fungicide that contains Thiophanate Methyl 38% + Kasugamycin 2.21% SC. This fungicide works by preventing cell division, stopping fungal spore germination, and inhibiting bacterial synthesis. The Zanet fungicide can also be used as a bactericide, providing dual protection. It is highly flexible to use and offers a rainfast formula, making it very effective and beginner-friendly.
Key Features and Benefits of Zanet Fungicide:
Dual Remedy: Zanet fungicide can be used against fungal and certain bacterial diseases, making it a fungicide+bactericide combo.
Complete Crop Coverage: This Thiophanate Methyl 38% + Kasugamycin 2.21% SC is absorbed and spreads quickly through translaminar action.
Flexible Application: The Zanet fungicide can be used as a preventive and curative application, providing high flexibility of usage.
Rainfast Formula: This Thiophanate Methyl 38% + Kasugamycin 2.21% SC formula cannot be easily washed away by rain after some time of application.
Broad-Spectrum: The Dhanuka Zanet fungicide can be used against various diseases such as Powdery Mildew, Bacterial Leaf Spot, etc.
Zanet Fungicide Uses — What Does It Control?
Zanet Fungicide covers both fungal and bacterial diseases across registered crops:
Fungal Diseases: Powdery Mildew (Erysiphe orontii — Tomato), Early Blight (Alternaria solani — Tomato), Sheath Blight (Rhizoctonia solani — Paddy)
Bacterial Diseases: Bacterial Leaf Spot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria — Tomato)
Registered Crops: Tomato and Paddy (Rice)
Dhanuka Zanet Dose — Recommended Dose:
Mix Zanet fungicide in 200 litres of clean water per acre for foliar spray. Apply preventively or at the very first sign of disease for the best results.
The dose is 2 ml per litre of water for both registered crops.
Crop | Target Disease | Dose Per Acre | Per 15L Pump | PHI |
Tomato | Bacterial Leaf Spot, Powdery Mildew, Early Blight | 400 ml | 30 ml | 3 days |
Paddy / Rice | Sheath Blight, Bacterial diseases | 400 ml | 30 ml | 14 days |
How To Use Dhanuka Zanet Fungicide:
Shake the bottle well before measuring. Thiophanate Methyl 38% + Kasugamycin 2.21% SC is a suspension concentrate that needs to be mixed before use.
Measure the required dose of Zanet fungicide as per the crop-wise table above.
Add the measured quantity to a sprayer tank half-filled with clean water and mix well.
Fill with the remaining clean water and agitate thoroughly before spraying.
Spray evenly on both the upper and lower leaf surfaces — complete coverage of all plant parts is critical for protection against fungal and bacterial diseases.
Apply preventively before disease appears, or at the first sign of Powdery Mildew whitening or Bacterial Leaf Spot lesions on Tomato leaves.
Apply during early morning or late evening — avoid spraying during midday heat or when rain is expected within 2 hours.
Rinse the sprayer thoroughly with clean water after every use.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Dhanuka Zanet in the early morning or late evening. Begin preventive sprays during humid, overcast, or warm-wet weather when Powdery Mildew and Bacterial Leaf Spot infection risk is highest. For Sheath Blight in Paddy, apply during active tillering when the crop canopy closes, and disease pressure begins to build.
Frequency of Application and Re-Entry Period:
Frequency of Application: Apply every 10–14 days during active disease pressure. Do not exceed 3–4 applications per season — always rotate Zanet fungicide with products from different FRAC groups after 2 consecutive applications to prevent resistance development.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 12 hours after spraying. Always observe the PHI specific to each crop before harvesting — 3 days for Tomato and 14 days for Paddy.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Dhanuka Zanet is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
Safety Precautions and Handling:
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying Zanet fungicide.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 12 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
