Mode Of Action

• Binding to the enzyme:

  • Centurion EZ binds to the active site of ACCase, preventing the enzyme from catalyzing the carboxylation of acetyl-CoA, a crucial step in fatty acid synthesis.

• Disruption of lipid production:

  • By blocking this reaction, the plant cannot produce the necessary lipids for cell membrane construction, leading to cell dysfunction and eventual death.
