Mode Of Action

Binding to the enzyme:
- Centurion EZ binds to the active site of ACCase, preventing the enzyme from catalyzing the carboxylation of acetyl-CoA, a crucial step in fatty acid synthesis.
Disruption of lipid production:
- By blocking this reaction, the plant cannot produce the necessary lipids for cell membrane construction, leading to cell dysfunction and eventual death.
