Parijat TASAR is a post-emergence selective herbicide combining Imazethapyr and Imazamox in water dispersible granule (WG) form. It effectively controls a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds in soybean, groundnut, and pulses. Its dual action formula ensures enhanced weed control and extended residual activity.

Technical Name:

• Imazethapyr 35% + Imazamox 35% WG

Mode of Action:

• TASAR inhibits the activity of the ALS (acetolactate synthase) enzyme in weeds, preventing the biosynthesis of essential amino acids.

• This halts cell division and weed growth, leading to the death of the target weeds. It works through foliar and soil absorption.

Method & Time of Application:

• Apply TASAR as a post-emergent herbicide using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan or flood jet nozzle.

• Ensure uniform coverage of the entire field by spraying in a cross pattern (first in one direction, then at right angles).

• Maintain constant pressure and nozzle height for even spray distribution.

• Use clean water and thoroughly mix the herbicide before spraying.
