Mode of Action:
Thiamethoxam belongs to the neonicotinoid group of insecticides. It acts on the insect’s central nervous system by interfering with nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. After application, it is rapidly absorbed by the plant and translocated systemically, controlling pests through contact and ingestion. This results in paralysis and death of the target insects.
