T. Stanes CROWN (Heterorhabdus indica) is an eco-friendly Entomopathogenic Nematode that acts as a biological insecticide. CROWN is available in Powder form.

Mode of Action:

The beneficial nematodes (Heterorhabditis indica) present in the product CROWN (10000 IJs/gram) control the white grubs by penetrating into its body cavity through natural openings and releasing the infective bacteria that multiply and kill the root grub. Infected grubs turn red and can be differentiated from live grubs.

Application:

• CROWN should be applied during the evening hours, early in the season (1st beetle emergence during the onset summer shower).

• Thoroughly mix with 100 kg soil or FYM and broadcast in the field before sowing or transplanting of seedlings.

• Irrigate the field before and after application. Additional watering helps to ensure that all nematodes are uniformly distributed & ample moisture increases the movement of nematodes & control rates of the grub population.
