Sumitomo Sumiprempt is a dual-action insecticide containing Pyriproxyfen 5% + Fenpropathrin 15% EC, which is effective against pests like whitefly, fruit borer, mites, and others. This insecticide works by disrupting the growth and reproduction of future generations while targeting the insect's nervous system by keeping sodium channels open. The Sumitomo Sumiprempt insecticide is effective against a wide range of pests with a quick-action formula, making it highly effective.

Sumiprempt Insecticide uses cover sucking pests, borers, and mites across all four registered crops:

The Sumiprempt Insecticide Dosage is 1.5–2 ml per litre of water — equivalent to 250 ml per acre in 150–200 litres of water and 22.5–30 ml per 15L pump.

Read the label instructions carefully before mixing Sumiprempt insecticide.
Measure 1.5–2 ml of Sumitomo Sumiprempt per litre of water required for the spray volume.
Add the measured quantity directly into a partially filled spray tank with agitation running — as an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), it forms a stable emulsion spontaneously upon contact with water.
Fill the tank with the remaining water and agitate well before spraying.
Complete coverage of all plant surfaces is the most important factor for best results — make sure the spray reaches the underside of leaves where Whitefly nymphs concentrate.
Apply at the first sign of pest activity — do not wait for heavy infestation before using Sumiprempt insecticide.
Spray during early morning or late afternoon for best results and to avoid heat-related evaporation.
Wear a mask and full safety gear while applying pyriproxyfen 5% + fenpropathrin 15% EC.
Apply Sumitomo Sumiprempt during cooler hours — early morning or late afternoon. Begin spraying when Whitefly adults are first spotted on the crop or when borer damage on flowers and young fruit first appears — early use of Sumiprempt insecticide stops pest populations from building to damaging levels.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. The lifecycle disruption of pyriproxyfen 5% + fenpropathrin 15% EC reduces re-infestation significantly — repeat based on field scouting. Do not exceed 2–3 applications per season. Rotate with insecticides from different IRAC groups after consecutive applications.
Re-Entry Period: Avoid field re-entry immediately after spraying. Allow spray to dry fully before entering. Standard protective precautions apply.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Sumiprempt insecticide is generally compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Always do a jar test before mixing. Do not apply near water bodies — toxic to fish and aquatic organisms.
