The Talstar Plus Insecticide Dosage Per Litre is 1.5–2 ml per litre of water for foliar spray — equivalent to 300–400 ml per acre in 200 litres of water. For soil application, higher doses are applied at or after sowing.

Measure the required dose of Bifenthrin 8% + Clothianidin 10% SC as per the crop-wise dose table above.
Add to the sprayer tank half-filled with clean water and mix well before topping up with the remaining water.
Agitate the tank thoroughly to form a uniform suspension before spraying.
For foliar pest control, use a hollow cone or flat fan nozzle — ensure spray reaches the underside of leaves and the stem base.
For soil pest control in Groundnut and Sugarcane, apply FMC Talstar Plus as a directed soil spray at the base of plants after sowing for uniform soil barrier formation.
Apply at the first sign of pest activity or at the Economic Threshold Level for the target pest.
Spray during early morning or late evening — avoid peak bee foraging hours as Talstar Plus insecticide contains Clothianidin, which is toxic to bees.
Rinse all sprayer equipment thoroughly with clean water after every use of Bifenthrin 8% + Clothianidin 10% SC.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply this Bifenthrin 8% + Clothianidin 10% SC in the early morning or late evening. For White Grub and Termite control in Groundnut and Sugarcane, apply at or just after sowing for the strongest soil barrier. For foliar sucking pest control in Cotton, apply at the first sign of Jassid or Thrips colony formation.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. FMC Talstar Plus provides longer residual control than conventional pyrethroids — repeat only when pest populations cross the Economic Threshold Level again. Do not exceed 2–3 applications per season. Always rotate with products from different IRAC groups after 2 consecutive applications.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-Mix Compatibility: Bifenthrin 8% + Clothianidin 10% SC insecticide is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products. Always perform a jar test before mixing with unfamiliar inputs.
Wear gloves, goggles, and a face mask before handling or spraying FMC Talstar Plus.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during mixing or application of Bifenthrin 8% + Clothianidin 10% SC.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes — rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes if contact occurs.
Toxic to bees — do not spray during active bee foraging hours, near beehives, or on flowering crops.
Toxic to aquatic organisms — do not allow spray drift or runoff near ponds, rivers, or fish farms.
Keep children, pets, and livestock away from treated fields for at least 24 hours.
Wash all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after every spray session.
Triple rinse empty containers, puncture, and dispose of per local waste guidelines.
Store Bifenthrin 8% + Clothianidin 10% SC in its original sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Keep away from food, animal feed, and seeds.
