FMC Authority Sulfentrazone 39.6% SC is a selective pre-emergence herbicide designed to manage a broad spectrum of weeds in agricultural crops. It is applied within 0 to 3 days after sowing and provides effective residual control for up to 4 to 6 weeks. The herbicide controls tough broadleaf weeds, grasses, and sedges, including Cyperus species. By reducing early weed competition, Authority supports better crop establishment, improved growth, and higher yield potential while minimizing the need for repeated manual weeding.

Mode of Action:

• Sulfentrazone belongs to the aryl triazolinone group and inhibits the PPO (Protoporphyrinogen oxidase) enzyme in weeds. This causes accumulation of toxic compounds, leading to disruption of cell membranes, rapid desiccation, and death of weed seedlings.
