EBS Nimon is an insect growth regulator containing Novaluron 10% EC, belonging to the Benzoylurea group. Once ingested by larvae, it inhibits chitin synthesis and stops molting in larvae, which leads to death. Novaluron 10% EC works immediately and controls pests like fruit borer, caterpillar, and diamondback moth through contact and stomach action. EBS Nimon is safe for beneficial insects like pollinators, making it ideal for IPM programs. It is a trusted solution for Cotton, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Tomato, Chilli, and other crops across India.
IGR Mode of Action: EBS Nimon insecticide inhibits chitin synthesis in larvae and prevents molting, breaking the pest life cycle at the larval stage.
Fast Antifeedant: With Novaluron 10% EC, larvae stop feeding within 2 to 3 hours of ingestion, reducing crop damage immediately after application.
Long Residual: EBS Nimon insecticide provides extended pest protection from a single application, reducing the need for frequent sprays.
Safe for Beneficials: Does not harm honeybees, natural predators, and beneficial insects, making it suitable for IPM (Integrated Pest Management) programs.
Resistance Management: Novaluron 10% EC prevents pests from developing resistance against insecticides and works effectively.
Versatile Solution: Effective on various crops like Cotton, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Tomato, Chilli, Bengal Gram, and other vegetable and field crops.
Bollworms: American Bollworm, Pink Bollworm, Spotted Bollworm
Caterpillars: Diamondback Moth, Spodoptera, Tobacco Caterpillar, Armyworms
Borers: Fruit Borer, Pod Borer, Shoot Borer
Other Pests: Whiteflies, Leaf-Eating Caterpillars
Mix EBS Nimon in 200 liters of water per acre for foliar spray. Apply Novaluron 10% EC at the first sign of pest infestation or at the early larval stage for best results.

Spray evenly on upper and lower leaf surfaces for complete coverage.
Ensure thorough coverage inside the plant canopy where larvae shelter.
Rinse the sprayer with clean water after use.
Spray Novaluron 10% EC in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cool, and wind speed is low — apply at the early larval stage for best results, as Novaluron is most effective against young and newly hatched larvae.
Frequency of Application: Apply at the first sign of pest attack or at the early larval stage. Repeat after 10 to 14 days if pest pressure continues. Do not apply more than 2 to 3 times per season.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated fields for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Tank-mix Compatibility: Compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Do not mix with Methomyl or alkaline products. Always do a jar test before mixing.

How does EBS Nimon work?
It inhibits chitin synthesis in insect larvae — without chitin, larvae cannot moult and develop into adults, breaking the pest life cycle completely at the larval stage.
Novaluron is most effective against young and newly hatched larvae. It does not kill adult insects directly but reduces future pest populations by preventing larvae from developing into adults.
Yes — Novaluron 10% EC does not harm honeybees, natural predators, and other beneficial insects when used at recommended doses, making it suitable for IPM programs.
You can spray in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cool — apply at the early larval stage for maximum effectiveness, as Novaluron works best against young and newly hatched larvae.
