Action 500 is an organophosphorus insecticide containing Chlorpyrifos 50% EC as an active ingredient. Action 500 is a broad-spectrum insecticide used to kill a wide variety of insects. Action 500 is effective in controlling cutworms, corn rootworms, root grubs, flea beetles, caterpillars, etc. It is used as an insecticide on cereals, cotton, fields, fruit, nut, and vegetable crops, as well as on lawns and ornamental plants. Action 500 acts on pests primarily as a contact poison, with some action as a stomach poison.
