Titan Agritech PEP-GIBB 40 is a water-soluble Gibberellic Acid 40% plant growth regulator formulated for efficient absorption and fast action. It helps overcome seed dormancy, stimulate early flowering, promote stem elongation, and improve fruit setting and enlargement. Suitable for vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, and cereals.

Gibberellic acid is a hormone extracted from plants and fungi being widely used as plant growth regulator. Gibberellic acid is a tetracyclic di-terpenoid hormone that regulates plant growth.

Mode of action:

Gibberellic Acid acts by stimulating plant hormones that regulate growth. It promotes cell division and elongation, speeds up germination, induces flowering, and supports fruit development. It also breaks seed dormancy and enhances metabolic activity for robust growth.

Features & Benefits:

• Overcoming Dormancy: Treatment of seeds/tubers before sowing with Gibberellic acid is effective in overcoming dormancy and causing rapid germination of seed.

• Premature Flowering: Flowering may be induced by applying Gibberellic acid directly to young plants. This action is not sustained, and treatment may need repetition.

• Increase in Fruit Set: When there is difficulty with fruit set, Gibberellic acid may be effective. The resulting fruit may be partially or entirely seedless.

• Hybridizing: Pollination within self-incompatible clones and between closely related species may sometimes be forced by the application of Gibberellic acid and cytokinin to the blooms at the time of hand pollination.
