Katyayani K-MITE is a chemical insecticide containing Hexythiazox 5.45% in an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It effectively controls a wide range of insect pests through broad-spectrum contact and translaminar activity properties, resulting in paralysis and death of an insect. This insecticide is suitable for agricultural use against pests such as scarlet mite, red spider mite, yellow mites and European red mite in crops like Tea, Chilli, Apple,Grapes, Rose, Brinjal, Okra and many Fruit and vegetable crops.

Mode of Action:

Katyayani K-MITE (Hexythiazox 5.45% EC) acts as contact acaricide with translaminar activity. It primarily works by directly affecting mites that come into contact with the treated surface. While it doesn't move throughout the plant like a systemic pesticide, it can spread slightly within the plant tissue, offering additional protection, particularly on the underside of leaves where mites typically reside.
