Biomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It inhibits the development of amino acids in the ribosome system of fungi and bacteria. This prevents protein synthesis and the bacteria or fungi are killed due to lack of protein. Systemic fungicide and bactericide with protective and curative action.
