Mode of Action: 

• Gallant causes death of target weeds by inhibiting the plant enzyme, Acetyl Coenzyme- A Carboxyloase (ACCase)
• ACCase is the first enzyme involved in the process of bio-synthesis of lipids (fatty acids)
