Water Level for Paddy: Maintain 2 to 5 cm standing water in the field at the time of application.
Timing: Apply Gharda Diesal Insecticide at 15 to 25 days after transplanting (DAT), when pest activity is just beginning.
How to Use Gharda Diesal Insecticide:
Ensure the paddy field has a shallow standing water level of 2 to 5 cm at the time of Diesal Insecticide application.
Wear gloves and a face mask before opening the insecticide pack.
Measure the required quantity of insecticide — usually 8 to 10 kg per acre.
Broadcast the granules by hand or with a granule spreader, walking evenly across the field.
Distribute the Gharda Diesal granules uniformly — avoid dumping in one spot as it can damage the crop locally.
Do not drain the field water for at least 3 to 5 days after application, so the granules dissolve slowly.
For sugarcane, maize, and groundnut, broadcast the granules on moist soil at the base of the plants at sowing or early growth stage.
Best Time to Apply:
Apply Gharda Diesal Insecticide 15 to 25 days after transplanting (DAT) — when the paddy seedlings have established, tillering is starting, and pest activity is just beginning. Early application of insecticide gives maximum residual protection, covering the critical crop period from tillering to panicle initiation stage.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency: Only 1 broadcast application per crop cycle — the long residual of Gharda Diesal Insecticide (25 to 35 days) means a single dose is enough for the paddy critical period.
Re-Entry Period: Wait at least 24 hours after application before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Gharda Diesal Insecticide is a stand-alone granular product and does not need tank-mixing.
