Coromandel Canister is a broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide mainly used in chilli for controlling mites and sucking pests. Canister insecticide contains Hexythiazox 3.5% + Diafenthiuron 42% WDG, a dual-action formulation that helps control pest pressure at different life stages. It is useful against mites, whiteflies, thrips, aphids, and jassids that damage chilli leaves, shoots, flowers, and fruiting parts. Coromandel Canister works through mite growth regulation and metabolic disruption, helping reduce feeding, movement, and further pest multiplication. It gives better results when sprayed early, before the pest population becomes heavy.
Dual-Action Formula: Coromandel Canister combines Hexythiazox and Diafenthiuron, giving two different actions for better protection.

Use the product as a foliar spray in chilli with clean water and full canopy coverage. Canister insecticide Dose Per Litre is around 1.3 g per litre of water. For acre application, use about 260 g per acre in nearly 200 litres of water. Spray should reach the lower side of leaves because mites, whiteflies, and thrips often remain hidden there.

Measure the required quantity as per crop area and pest pressure.
Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
Mix the measured granules in a small amount of water first.
Add the prepared mixture into the spray tank.
Add the remaining water and stir the solution properly.
Spray evenly on the chilli crop canopy.
Cover the lower leaf surface where mites and whiteflies usually stay.
Apply when pest activity is first noticed in the field.
Avoid spraying during strong wind, rain, or very hot afternoon weather.

Apply Coromandel Canister when mites, whiteflies, thrips, aphids, or jassids are first seen on the crop. Morning or evening spraying is better because crop stress and spray loss are lower. The product gives better results when pest pressure is still at an early to moderate level. Avoid spraying on drought-stressed, waterlogged, or weak chilli plants.
Frequency of Application: One timely application can help manage early to moderate pest pressure. Repeat only if pest activity continues and label guidance allows it.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated field for at least 24 hours after spraying without proper protective gear.
Compatibility: Do not mix with other pesticides, fertilizers, micronutrients, or plant growth products without checking compatibility first.
Application Care: Good coverage is important because mites and sucking pests often hide on the underside of leaves.
Resistance Care: Rotate with other suitable insecticide or miticide groups and avoid repeated sprays of the same chemistry.
