Bayer Oberon is a foliar insecticide and acaricide used for managing mites and whiteflies in vegetable, fruit, cotton, and tea crops. Oberon insecticide works by disturbing lipid formation in target pests and is effective on several mite and whitefly stages, especially eggs, nymphs, and early developing stages. This insecticide helps reduce pest multiplication, feeding pressure, leaf yellowing, and crop weakness caused by heavy infestation. Oberon insecticide gives longer activity when sprayed evenly with good leaf coverage.
Mite Control: The product helps control red spider mite, yellow mite, European red mite, and other mite problems in recommended crops.
Residual Support: This product gives lasting control when applied at the correct stage with proper spray coverage.
Translaminar Movement: Oberon insecticide moves across the leaf surface, helping protect hidden pest stages on the underside of leaves.
Resistance Management Option: Bayer Oberon insecticide has a unique mode of action, making it tough for pests to develop resistance.
Low Impact on Many Beneficials: Bayer Oberon is considered suitable for IPM-based programs when used carefully and only when pest pressure is present.
Mites: Red spider mite, yellow mite, European red mite, two-spotted mite, and other damaging mite stages.
Whiteflies: Whitefly nymphs, eggs, and early stages on vegetable and cotton crops.
Vegetable Crop Pests: Mites and whiteflies in brinjal, chilli, okra, tomato, and cucumber.
Plantation and Fruit Crop Pests: Red spider mite in tea and European red mite or red spider mite in apple.
Use the product as a foliar spray with clean water and full crop coverage. Oberon insecticide Dose Per Litre is usually around 0.8 to 1.25 ml per litre, depending on crop, pest, and water volume. Oberon insecticide should be sprayed when mites or whiteflies are first noticed. Oberon insecticide performs better when coverage is even, before the population becomes heavy.
Crop | Target Pest | Dose per acre | Application Method | PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Brinjal | Red spider mite | 160 ml/acre | Foliar spray in about 200 L water | 5 days |
Cotton | Whitefly and mite | 240 ml/acre | Foliar spray in about 200 L water | 10 days |
Apple | European red mite and red spider mite | 120 ml/acre or label-based orchard dilution | Foliar spray as per tree canopy | 30 days |
Chilli | Yellow mite | 160 ml/acre | Foliar spray in 200 to 300 L water | 7 days |
Tea | Red spider mite | 160 ml/acre | Foliar spray in about 160 L water | 7 days |
Okra | Red spider mite | 160 to 200 ml/acre | Foliar spray in about 200 L water | 3 days |
Tomato | Whitefly and mites | 250 ml/acre | Foliar spray in about 200 L water | 3 days |
Cucumber | Mites and whiteflies | Use label-based dose | Foliar spray with uniform canopy coverage | Follow label |
Measure the required quantity of the product as per the crop and pest level.
Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
Add the measured Oberon insecticide quantity into a small amount of water first.
Mix Bayer Oberon properly to make a uniform solution.
Pour the prepared mixture into the spray tank and add the remaining water.
Stir the spray solution well before and during application.
Spray Oberon insecticide uniformly on the crop canopy.
Cover the underside of leaves properly because mites and whiteflies often remain there.
Apply Bayer Oberon at the early pest stage for better results.
Do not spray Oberon insecticide during strong wind, heavy rain, or hot afternoon weather.
Use the prepared Bayer Oberon spray solution on the same day.
Apply Bayer Oberon when mites, whitefly nymphs, or early pest colonies are first noticed on the crop. Morning or evening spray is better because evaporation and drift are lower. Oberon insecticide gives better results when the pest population is still manageable, and leaves are covered properly from both sides.
Frequency of Application: One timely Bayer Oberon spray can manage early to moderate mite and whitefly pressure. Repeat only if pest pressure continues and crop guidance allows it.
Re-Entry Period: Do not enter the treated field for at least 24 hours after Oberon insecticide application without proper protective gear.
Compatibility: Do not mix Bayer Oberon blindly with fungicides, fertilizers, micronutrients, or plant growth products. Always do a jar test before tank mixing.
Application Care: Oberon insecticide works best when the spray reaches the lower leaf surface where mites and whiteflies hide.
Resistance Care: Rotate Bayer Oberon with other suitable insecticide or miticide groups to reduce resistance risk.
Read the Bayer Oberon label carefully before mixing and spraying.
Wear gloves, mask, goggles, long sleeves, and protective shoes while handling Oberon insecticide.
Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew anything during Bayer Oberon application.
Avoid direct contact of Oberon insecticide with skin, eyes, and mouth.
Do not inhale spray mist while applying Bayer Oberon in the field.
Keep Oberon insecticide away from ponds, canals, drinking water, and fish farms.
Keep children, animals, and unprotected workers away from the treated crop until the spray dries.
Store Bayer Oberon in its original sealed container.
Keep Oberon insecticide in a cool, dry, shaded, and well-ventilated place.
Keep Bayer Oberon away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture, and open flame.
