Lojas Herbicide How to Use:
Check the paddy field to see the weed size — 2 to 4-leaf stage of weeds is the right time to spray Lojas Herbicide.
Drain excess standing water from the field 1 day before spraying so the weed foliage is exposed.
Wear gloves and a face mask before opening the Lojas bottle.
Shake the bottle well and measure the required quantity using a marked cup or syringe.
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and pour in the measured product slowly.
Add the remaining water and stir until the solution looks uniform.
Use a flat-fan nozzle for herbicide application — never a hollow-cone insecticide nozzle.
Spray evenly over the field, without going over the same area twice.
Re-flood the field with 2 to 5 cm standing water 2 to 3 days after Lojas Herbicide application.
Best Time to Apply:
Spray Gharda Lojas at the early post-emergence stage — 15 to 25 days after transplanting (DAT) or 15 to 20 days after sowing (DAS) in DSR, when weeds are at the 2 to 4-leaf stage and actively growing. Late afternoon or early evening is the best window, when leaf temperature is cooler and weed absorption is stronger. Avoid spraying if rain is expected within 4 to 6 hours.
Frequency of Application and Re-entry Period:
Frequency: Only 1 post-emergence spray per crop cycle — do not repeat the same herbicide in the same season.
Re-Entry Period: Wait 24 hours after spraying Lojas Herbicide before re-entering the treated field without protective clothing.
Compatibility: Lojas Herbicide is best used stand-alone. Do NOT tank-mix with insecticides, fungicides, or fertilizers as it may reduce herbicide activity. Always run a small jar test if a combination is planned.
